Ho trovato maggiori informazioni sulle versioni in DTS. Girano su torrent (su e-mule non ho trovato nulla) le versioni di Tubular Bells, Ommadawn e Hergest Ridge in DTS rimasterizzati dalle versioni Quad del cofanetto "boxed".
Ecco un estratto della descrizione che ho trovato allegato a TB in DTS:
"The quad mix of the original Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield. Source cd was the remastered TB from the cd boxed set. The cd still has the SQ quad encoding. The quad was recreated by using a software decoder, then remastered with DTS and added the .1 subchannel to round out the sound of the 4.0 mix."
Ho scaricato tutte le versioni, ora le testeṛ su un impianto 5.1.
